The flexible (spiral) auger is used for transporting grain, flour, pulses and other bulk and granular substances. Ideal for applications with limited space and complex trajectory.

The spring conveyor can be operated in both horizontal and vertical position.
The material of the outer hose is transparent polyurethane (PU) reinforced with impact resistant steel or copper wire. Operating temperature: from - 40°C to + 90°C (briefly up to +125°C) manufacturer Italy.

Flexible hose made of polyurethane is non-toxic, has a smooth inner surface. Due to reinforcement with metal (or PVC) spiral it has increased elasticity, while maintaining a very high flexibility. European quality control during manufacture ensures high resistance to abrasion. PU hose is capable of anti-static discharge and is also resistant to mineral oils and chemicals.
The material is not subject to degradation under prolonged exposure to ultraviolet light.

The design of the loading and unloading unit depends on the product being transported and the operating conditions of the Meinhaus spiral conveyor. A self-picking screen or a small loading hopper can be used as a loading neck to feed the product vertically into the conveyor.

As the flexible spiral augers pull, respectively, the discharge assembly is connected to a platform for the drive. The screw conveyor is driven by a three-phase (or single-phase on request of the customer) electric motor or gearmotor.

Additionally, the screw conveyor can be equipped with a frequency converter to regulate the speed of the spiral rotation, which will allow to regulate the productivity.
